Case Study: Building Visibility for a Local Cloud Provider & Data Sovereignty Leader
Client A leading West African-owned cloud and technology services provider Delivery Partners Africa Hyperscalers, in partnership with The Littlesteps Company Limited   Objective The client sought to strengthen its visibility and credibility as a local cloud provider, while shaping national and regional conversations on data sovereignty, compliance, and secure cloud adoption. The goal was to move beyond vendor positioning within one industry and be recognised as a thought leader and trusted partner for enterprises, regulators, and policymakers.   Our Role Africa Hyperscalers, working alongside sister company The Littlesteps Company, supported the client through a strategic visibility, positioning, and convening programme. We focused on narrative development, executive visibility, ecosystem engagement, and the creation of a high-impact platform to anchor the data sovereignty conversation.   Execution We helped position the client as a credible voice in local cloud and digital sovereignty by integrating them into policy-adjacent conversations, industry platforms, and executive forums. A central pillar of this effort was the conceptualisation, organisation, and delivery of the Data Sovereignty Conference, which convened over 10 African data protection regulators, enterprises, cloud providers, data center operators, and technology partners to discuss local hosting, compliance, and trust in Africa’s digital economy. We also included the Chief Executive Officer on relevant cloud discussions hosted by Africa Hyperscalers. In parallel, we supported strategic communications, media engagement, and thought-leadership amplification, ensuring consistent messaging across events, interviews, and owned platforms. The programme prioritised credibility over promotion, positioning the client as a contributor to ecosystem progress.   Audience & Reach
